I paid $375 for the plan and $75 for each service call. I think it was money well spent and am very satisfied!I had a 1 year policy with American Home Shield AHS that came with the sale when I bought my renovated 1908 Craftsman home. I used their service twice to fix valves that had been installed backwards in the bathroom water fixtures. Other than that their service was a complete waste of $500/year. Each time I called about a problem having to do with faulty plumbing, electric, or faulty workmanship, AHS always found an excuse with the problem that disqualified it from their coverage plan. Each time I paid $60 for a plumber or electrician to come out only to tell me the problems were never covered by AHS.

On to making a complaint to BBB. I will definitely not be recommending 2 10 to anyone EVER!There was something wrong with my AC switch. It was a Friday when the AC went out. I was at work and I called AHS to submit my claim because I did not have my information at that time to log in. Initially, when we did the claim, there was supposed to be a company and AHS said that they would come in that Monday. Also, they said that if it was an emergency, they would come in in that weekend.
